APPLICATION
The ExxxT split core current sensor is a non-conventional, passive sensor for retrofit installation on the cables of gas- or air-insulated switchgear in primary or secondary energy distribution. Its splitable Standard Shape T core clips onto existing cables without disconnection, and earthing can be done at the sensor, through the cable shielding, or via the S2 connection inside the IED. Designed to IEC 61869-1 and IEC 61869-10.
