APPLICATION
The V240L voltage sensor is a passive, non-conventional support-insulator voltage sensor for air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear up to 24 kV. As a load-bearing insulator it mechanically supports the busbar and measures voltage at the same time, combining two roles in a single component. The sensor has a point for common earth connection and an output cable for connection with an intelligent electronic device (IED), which reduces part count and simplifies the switchgear layout.
