Your connector
becomes the
measuring point.
We develop current and voltage sensors that integrate into T-connectors and separable connectors. Your customers measure right where the cable is connected anyway.

Your challenge
What keeps you busy today
No extra space
There is no room in the panel for additional transformers. Measurement has to fit into what is already there.
Mechanical fit
Sensors must fit the connector geometry and interfaces without changing how it is installed.
Insulation & testing
Every added component has to meet insulation requirements and pass type testing.
Added value
Your customers expect more from a connector than a connection: measurement data for smart grids.

Cone-type voltage sensors
Fits into the rear cone of the T-connector, no longer than a standard blind plug. One sensor covers 12, 17.5 and 24 kV, a second series covers 36 kV.

Where our sensors go
01Voltage sensor in the rear cone
The cone-type sensor replaces the blind plug. Passive, no power supply, no extra space.
02Current sensor on the bushing
The ring-type sensor slides over the bushing, between the panel wall and the T-connector.
03Current sensor on the cable
Alternatively, the ring-type sensor sits on the cable below the connector. Split-core versions fit around installed cables.
04Signal out of the connector
A shielded cable carries the low-power signal to the protection relay or meter.

Frequently asked questions
Which T-connectors are your cone-type sensors compatible with?
Our cone-type voltage sensors to IEC 61869-1 and -11 fit the most common deadbreak T-connectors on the market. All Type C cones comply with EN 50181.

Your connector is not listed? Kontaktieren Sie uns and we will check compatibility.
Does the sensor change the connector's dimensions?
No. Our cone-type voltage sensors are no longer than a standard blind plug, so the connector keeps its installation dimensions. All our sensors are passive and need no power supply.
Which voltage levels do your sensors cover?
Our cone-type voltage sensors cover 12, 17.5 and 24 kV with a single sensor (U240 series), and 36 kV with the U360 series.
Do I need to modify my T-connector?
No. Our cone-type voltage sensors have a Type C cone to EN 50181 and fit symmetric T-connectors from different manufacturers. The sensor simply replaces the blind plug, so no changes to the connector are needed.
Does the sensor also secure the T-connector?
Yes. Like a blind plug, the sensor holds the T-connector firmly in place. It combines two functions in one component: securing the connector and measuring the voltage.
How is the signal routed out of the connector?
Each sensor has an output cable that connects directly to the intelligent electronic device (IED), for example a protection relay. A dedicated point on the sensor is used for the common earth connection.
