3-Phase Ring-Type Current Sensor ExxxDA

APPLICATION

The ExxxDA current sensor (LPCT) is a non-conventional passive ring type sensor for 3-phase installation on the bushings of gas insulated switchgear on the secondary energy distribution level. Combining all three phases in one holding system speeds up installation and adapts to different kinds of T-connectors. Earthing can be done at the current sensor, through the shielding of the cable, or through the S2 connection inside the IED (intelligent electronic device).
