Voltage Sensor Type-C Cone VxxxC

APPLICATION

The VxxxC voltage sensor is a passive, non-conventional voltage sensor for T-connectors in gas-insulated medium-voltage switchgear. Its type-C cone conforms to EN 50181 and fits symmetric T-connectors from different manufacturers. The sensor replaces the blind plug of the T-connector and serves both to secure the connector in place and to measure voltage. It has a point for common earth connection and an output cable for connection with an intelligent electronic device (IED).
